"Not everyone was taught the same methods which is an issue. Lack of signs don't helo either
Ya can't blame the signs
Not all roundabouts are the same. Signs and road markings help massively"
We are talking full on arrow pointing left on the ground.
I drive for a living and don't get how people drive with my awareness |

"Roundabouts are increasingly more common in the USA but they have no clue.
I wonder what the yanks would think of the magic roundabout."
It would blow their minds but tbf it did mine. Lucky for everyone concerned I was a passenger and not the driver. |

It's even worse when it's mammoth sized Chelsea tank vehicles, taking up much too much space, when doing this. It's connected to the widespread lack of social respect and atrocious driving standards.
If we wanted full employment again, mass driving instruction and retesting, would employ thousands of people. Whilst maybe a couple of million drivers would be banned from the roads. At least. |

I'm a lorry driver so sometimes I need to use left lane to get the right swing to go right. The amount of bellends who don't look at my indicators and road positiong continue to try and cut up in the right hand lane is crazy and then they are the ones kicking off because thire cars fucked. |

Lorries are allowed to do it though. People need to learn how to drive.

Yup just piss poor drivers.
There's a roundabout near us left lane clearing marked on signs and on road left or straight across, right lane obviously to go right doesn't stop the morons zooming up the left lane and cutting in on you on the roundabout.
FUCKING IDIOTS |

In this country, most people are not taught how to drive.
In the overwhelming majority of cases, they are taught, using repetition and familiarity, how to pass a driving test conducted on a particular set of roads in their local area.
The frightening aspect of this is how few people appreciate the difference.
Thank you, 4 Troop, Army School of Mechanical Transport, Catterick. Thank you for all those weeks a few years ago, teaching me how to drive in cities, in towns, in villages, on motorways, off-road, in any weather, through flooding, at night on sidelights only, towing a trailer, in four-wheel drive, in convoy etc. - and, eventually, all of the above combined within hours of epic "keep up with the instructors" drives... |
