I think I heard on the news that CO2 levels last year were the highest they have ever been since industrialization, surely this can't be true after all the measures being taken must be an AI report. |

But India and China are in the middle of there industrialization and both are burning lots of coal to make electricity. |

This is what makes me chuckle, we bang on about us not meeting targets, we are a pin prick of an island, the USA, India and China are huge and burn more fossil fuels in one week than we do in a year. Our contribution is miniscule. |

But India and China are in the middle of there industrialization and both are burning lots of coal to make electricity."
In fact during the 1990s China was opening one new coal powered power station every week and they poured sufficient cement in 10 years as the Americans did in 100 years. This also has a damning effect with regard to CO2.
Other concerns would be South America, particularly Brazil but one of the worst polluters that should be added to the list is both Russia and the USA |
