What is it with these people? Why do they do it?
Been chatting with a woman for a couple of weeks, exchanged numbers etc. Got on very well , arranged a social ,day,time,place etc, then on the day , blocked and ghosted. If they change their mind, thats fine, why can't they just be adult about it,and tell you??? |

It’s not excusing poor behaviour, but people do lose interest and worry about abuse if they say so. Of course, some people are just poorly behaved and make Fab that bit worse.
Also, was it definitely a woman? Well verified etc? |

Ideally people would be upfront and tell you they'd changed their mind or life has got in the way.
But people can get abusive on here when they don't get their own way, so some find it easier to block.
It doesn't feel good though if you're on the receiving end. |

When you say 'exchanged numbers' was that just for off site text messaging or did you speak/video chat?

Happens very often here, there's an abundance of choice so ppl often feel there's no need to explain, it's easier for them to block |

We have had exactly the same experiences here. Several conversations. Even arranged a couple of meets, all for it to fall at the last point.
Partly an issue with us too and we have to recognize that. We live 80 miles apart and Karie works shifts. This means that we don't get an awful lot of time together, and the majority of people do t have the patience to stick with it.
Still very bad manners though |
