I’m relatively new here on fab and I really enjoy the forums.
In various threads I’ve seen people referring to fab during lockdown and I was talking to a new friend of mine who says it was a great support system especially as she lives alone.
So I was hoping that people would tell me about their experience. Any interesting stories? Did anyone break the rules for a meeting?
I imagine some lasting friendships were also created. Do you still have a strong bond with someone?
I also wonder what it was like if you made a connection with someone during lockdown and waited until it was safe to meet. The intensity must have been incredible.

I spent many months without meeting for sex, as I didn't have a FB in a trusted group - I can't remember the term that was given to them.
Fab was fairly busy, as people had time on their hands. Many wanted cyber sex, which is fine, if you want that but it's also something that many here have to take great effort to avoid, with men, especially, wanting wank fodder but potentially misleading you, into their objectives. 
It was very supportive and people soon established good ground rules.. The Virus Forum was very helpful and had lots of intelligent discussions. Obviously, many of us lost loved ones and it was very hard for us, with being unable to get together with others
There was a tiny minority who did meet  . But Fab was very good at enforcement of government laws and rules. The Meetings option was disabled  for example.
Club owners were going through an awful time and it was uncertain whether there would be much of a scene, once we emerged. Government financial support wasn't very relevant and helpful for many. But it was good to help support them, from a distance, with moral support etc. |

The government. It was a wild time. |
