Is fake tan still a thing like it used to be? I don't hear people talk about it much nowdays.
Back in the 90's everyone seemed to be chasing after a tan - whether through sun-beds of tanning creams... ... There was a lot of orange people going around
I used to chase tans a lot too, but now I don't care and don't notice skin colour and prefer a natural look.
I mean... Goths... |

"So many of the younger women at my work go on the tanning beds
Don't they worry about skin cancer "
Clearly not. One of them is a good friend and I’m always warning her. Especially after one of the other staff got a cancerous growth on her face by using them |

Some people just don't tan so the need is there ,some people wear make up some don't, some people love tatts or ink is the cooler way to describe it some don't, some people think sex all the time some don't, so the answer is yes some still like the orange look . |

Me and my bestie both hit the sunbeds. We can do the same time, same place etc but she just does not tan whereas I’m tanned as heck within 2days of using them… so she uses them more… it’s still a bit industry |

The best tan i ever used was Rimmels one hour tan... 'dark'... incredible stuff. But... Not good for you, but then; what is? Although they can disrupt the old mucous-membranes which is not good.
I stopped tanning years ago. What stands out for me is that as soon as I stopped caring about my skin colour - I stopped noticing if others were tanned or not too. (Hence this here rather 'naive' post) which shows that I didn't think people tanned anymore... (I was oblivious!).
Nowadays I like pale skin as much as tanned skin, and I'm glad about that because it was all in the eye of the beholder to everyone else too all-along... One person likes you tanned, another doesn't - (and most people don't even notice) (or care).
Thanks for the replys! |
