Keep an eye on your wallet!

I assume you've stayed there before, if you haven't then your in for a suprise. Wouldn't recommend it tbh

The near Didsbury/Northenden?

You need to arrive by boat to stay there I think.

"Glowing reviews of the Britania "

It's an absolute dump.

The reviews are quite funny though

I stayed there one night for work about 5 or 6 years ago. Whoever had been in there previously had had a very energetic party judging by the stains on the wall and carpet!

The Sachas one has a very poor reputation. Often guys there trying to get sex. It's deserted in town this week and must be plenty of good hotels near empty

Here's a TripAdvisor review

To say this place is an absolute dump seriously under compares the Britannia with most other dumps I’ve stayed in globally. 1 star

North West

Assuming it's the Britannia on Portland Street. Which, like Sacha's, is a complete dive. I wouldn't put farmyard animals in them to stay the night.

Motel 1 opposite Piccadilly Train Station is much better and you don't need a card key to use the lift so you can go straight to the guys room instead of having to wait in the lobby for them to get you.

This Brittania sounds horrible! I'm happy to see a recommendation for motel one though because that's where I've booked in for end of the month
