"Mines got to be picard,, personifies just how a captain should be 2: janeway 3: archer 4: kirk 5: sisko x" Hmmmmm! now this isn't that easy the first Cpt of the Enterprise in the pilot episode was Jeffrey Hunter who was more familiar in his roles in Westerns with John Wayne and he played Cpt Christopher Pike, which character was of course reenacted in the recent movies. J Hunter turneddown the 2nd pilot which if he hadn't of done would we have been blessed with the only and only James Tiberius Kirk! I some how doubt it. Now 'Spock' Leonard Nimoy did appear in that episode and of course has remained a constant through out and I have to say hes my Spock like Connery is my Bond! One other actor was in the original series and and was Majel Barrett, She has played a cpl of characters and most recently as Troy's mum in Next Generation, but I think her claim to fame apart from marrying Roddenberry is that she is the voice of the computers! So, Simply because there parts were seperated by such a long time period and considering the the technologies to hand I cannot seperate James Tiberius Kirk and Jean Luc Piccard, do you know all the american presidents have been killed by people with three names! Just a little pub teaser for you. Then Janeway, Archer (type cast in Quantum leap for me and finally Sisko, because he didn't like Jean Luc! lol Favourite Episodes? Kirk and the Tribbles!and what happened to the Clingons? not forgetting Khan! Jean Luc after the first season when he started to shave his head and everything became a little less wooden and Ryker grew his beard and of course then there was the battles with the Borg Queen, Not bothered by Q! and data was clearly Spock! Warf story lines were often good and his character moved well to Deep Space 9, who wouldn't want Geordies Visor! Voyager! hmmm well it has to be 7of9! resistance definitely is fultile! Tuvix was an interesting moral episode but when Paris and Janeway reverted and mated! a little too yuk!! also when Paris broke warp 10 was wishy washy. Horgeon not bad villians Archer! well whos job was it to pick up after the beagle? and he kept falling in and out with the Andorians at least the Blue ones! had anice Vulcan crew member though. Sisko!well best episodes were of the USS Defiant apart from when he and a couple of other members went back in time to look for the bomb that had been planted in the Tribble and the mystery of the odd looking Clingons from Kirks time was explained by Warf! and they all got to meet there hero Kirk! Odo was an OK character too and the battle with the Dominion! Promise I'm not a trekkie, at least as not as bigger one as the boys from 'The Big Bang Theory' Whats good fun about Star Trek and it's spin offs is seeing just how many characters get killed off and reincarnated as someone else! My Ex always wanted to know what would happen if you were shagging on the hollow deck and just about to cum or had and the program shuts down?! messy or what?! | |||
