Help me settle this argument with hubs please. He loves perfumes, deodorant, everything with musk. I absolutely hate it. The new perfume he got for Christmas literally makes me sick. He thinks women love it but I don't think we do. Not me. Am I alone? |

"I'm not a fan of perfume, never have been. I like a good smelling body spray 👌🏼"
Yes, most overuse them. I carpool with someone who is like a walking sephora shop. I need to roll the window down on some days 😑 |

It’s not my favourite, it starts off ok and then it gets a bit sickly smelling as it warms up.
I never liked the Bodyshop Dewberry perfume either and that was raved about back in the day too!
I wear a lot of Lush perfumes though, so my taste may not be to everyone’s liking either! |

I'm not a fan of musk as a constituent of any fragrance. I find it cloy'ing and sickly sweet, quite overbearing and nauseating. These types of musk scents are attributed to Macrocyclic variants - the type of scent that was often extracted from Civet deer. Also not helped by the fact that all (approved) musk is synthetic.
For me, citrus/green scents that contain peel, bergamot, moss, mandarin etc are my penchant. 🌿 |

Ladies have known this for a long long time.
Different perfumes smell different on different people.
Take him shopping and you choose his fragrance. It's the only way to find one that suits you. After 10 minutes of him wearing one, he'll be nose blind to the smell anyway. |

I'm similar to Nero on this.
Citrus notes with undertones of Sandalwood and Bergamot. An earthy natural smell but not too heavy.
Current and longtime crop of candidates are Quorum, Spice Bomb Extreme and CK1. Blue Stratos for the daytime. |

Put a sticky label over it that says "Essence of Man". He'll soon change his mind.. |
