DO ya know....

i once was living with a guy (about a yr) and i had to work the new yrs eve...

He called me at 12 .00 to wish me happy new year and say how much he loved me ...blah blah...

And on upon getting home....

He had changed his mind and was leaving !!!!!

go figure that one out....?

Spent last 27 years with my daughter as it's her birthday. Every year I ask what's she doing for new year and she says with you: dont have plans do you? Didn't ask this year but told me over Christmas she's going to Dublin: flew out this morning with her boyfriend so will see in 2010 with my other two daughters!

About 20 of us getting together for dinner at a friends tonight, will go from there to the local pub which is for locals only to ring in the new year. It has a couple of open fires and lots of nooks and crannies and the music will be provided by who ever turns up with a squeezebox, whistle and fiddle- am anticipating a good night
