Love stay ups but finding ones that last more than 2 or 3 uses before starting to fall down annoying so do other ladies have any brand recommendations.

I've never found any. Primark are the best but they do only last about three washes.

They do need washing, that refreshes them. Marks and sparks, next, most come good again after a wash.

I don't wear hold ups or stockings more than once as I like the new feel, straight out of the packaging. Plus once washed they may lose their stickiness, get tangled with other garments and snag and bobble.

MADERIA Wherever I lay my hat

Tescos of all places used to do some that lasted ages. The denier was slightly thicker too so I have had to throw out pairs that were perfectly wearable apart from the fact they looked old.

Wolford have been the best I’ve found. Pretty Polly were also great as a “budget” brand.

Also, avoid moisturiser on the area of your legs where the silicone bands “grip”. That will help with slippage.

M&S have always been good for me. I also sometimes use a bit of hairspray on the band to help them stay up

M and S work best for me and the sizing gives good fit. I find cheaper ones aren't good for proportions.

I have M&S ones that I’ve had for years. Avoiding body lotion or similar will help them stay up

STOKE-ON-TRENT

Holdups are difficult to buy especially nude coloured . I use m and s and boots brands .

Worst brand ever was matalan didn't stay up from brand new.

Tip for washing them is to use a net bag I bought from primark, it's aimed at washing reusable makeup pads but work a treat with holdups
