No not those sort.
YouTube black holes.
Those subjects that sneak up on you with no real rhyme or reason.
I’ve found myself watching Kent Survival’s channel. I’ve no idea why I find it relaxing, but I do. I’ve no idea what led me to watching it in the first place. All he does is camp out in woodlands, outdoor cooking, and fire pits. |

"You need to watch Outdoor Boys, he’s my favourite!
I also don’t know why I watch it, but I can’t stop 😭
It makes me wanna try hot tent camping and cooking on the woodstove"
Yes! I sit there taking mental notes like I’m ever going to be camping in the middle of Alaska. |

Well, there goes my hopes dashed. I thought this was going to be a meaningful discussion about general relativity, quantum field theory and Hawking radiation.
So, is this more like one of my insomniac Wikipedia binges, then? |

I do enjoy Beard meats food.
Who’d have thought…..you can make a fortune on YouTube by having millions of people watching you stuff your face full of food. |

This is probably a generational thing but it would never occur to me to watch YouTube like I watch tv, for entertainment, I use it for music vids occasionally but more often to learn how to do a specific thing, oh and yoga. But it’s a ‘go and watch that one specific thing’ and then close it again. |
