How’s your week started?
Jump to: Newest in thread
So, elder kids have a teacher training day today, that’s fine. But the snow has closed the youngests nursery and now my broadband has gone down, so I can’t wfh too well!
How’s your working week going?
Can only get better, right? |

I failed at parenting and just put the kids in their normal shoes without thinking. Had to listen to moans on the walk to school about cold wet feet. So I feel vaguely guilty.
Then my password had expired so things didn't work on my laptop. Changed, but the laptop rejected it. I couldn't remember the number for IT, didn't have my new team leaders number, so called a random colleague who it turns out had the day off. She gave me a number, team leader then gave me IT's number. New password didn't work, so had to cycle to the office to get a new password. Fun in the freezing rain. And then cycled home again. 2 hours of faffing. Fun.
I am now clearly working productively ![](/icons/thumb_up.png) |

Hopefully all will fall in place. My carrots which wete delivered yesterday are all limp but still put them in the caserole and fingers crossed. We all have our crosses to bear on this cold winter Monday ![](/icons/rainbow.png) |

I went out with good intentions of actually doing some work but spent a good half an hour talking a drinking soup in jewsons then looked out the doors at the rain and decided not to purchase any materials and instead go home and lie on the cooch |

Due to all the rain overnight, woke up this morning to find huge puddles on this year's crops (puddles are several acres in size)
Telehandler wouldn't start, ran out of the vital forms that are make and break to a crop being a good crop and now I've just had the alert that the flood warning on the river running alongside the farm has been upgraded (I'm in the fens, so the rivers are embanked and the water level much higher than surrounding land...)
So yeah - things can only get better! ![](/icons/s/confused.gif) |
