I hate to be that guy but do you ever think about all the pictures posted on accounts of sex not including the people in the profile and wonder if they’ve consented to it being posted.

I’m sure they were ok with it being filmed but do you think they have consented to it being posted. Pictures too. So many profiles with pictures of others and I can’t help but think about it.

I’d wager that the majority of those pics are posted without consent or knowledge of the other party.

I would imagine there are a good number of pics that have not had any consent for posting on here and possibly videos too. If they meet the photo rules then there isn't really much fab can do, unfortunately.

I absolutely hate it.

Same as all the gross men on single profiles requesting chats about their wives, with each other.

Not all men, but always men 🤮

It keeps me awake most nights, Pickles. Especially the couples accounts, they're a law unto themselves.

Fully understand your point.

Couples profiles where it's videos or pictures of them both, understandable but single profiles - both men and women - it does make you wonder.....

Really there should be an option to "tag" another person's profile in the picture if you've filmed/taken pictures of a meet from FAB and a box for them to tick they consent it being uploaded.

Not really workable.

I’m gonna hazard a guess that a lot of the guys photos that feature others. Are either ex partners, or random hookups.

It’s one of those things that are pretty much impossible to police. It’s easy for the pic owner to say “yes, I have permission” and there’s not a lot anyone can do but take it at face value.

Couples also post pictures and videos saying ‘not my husband’ or various pictures and videos of different men

I know pictures of me are sent to random strangers, despite me asking them not to use them. At least they are no longer displayed on their profile which is a small win

That's true, was just thinking of some sort of workaround for consent that, whilst it wouldn't alleviate the issue, may at least try and narrow it down somewhat.

Agree that there's loads of pictures on here where it's dubious the other person other than the profile holder is aware.

My other hate- people sending sexual stuff to groups or individuals and there’s no suggestion of consent.

Totally get you. Tagging is a good solution in my opinion.

I think my other issue is profiles that aren’t even verified being able to upload this stuff

We would never post a picture of video of a meet without the other persons consent. I even send them privately so they can see what’s being posted before I do it. However I can see how easy it is to just say you’ve had their consent

There’s really no way around stopping it from happening. They could enforce a rule that you can’t have pictures of others on single profiles, but there’s no stopping couples who can say it’s their partner. It’s horrible for the people who are oblivious to it.

Sometimes I think about it. Like now. It's rare though. Anyway, yes it's grim but not sure how it'll be managed. Sometimes they do have consent, other times? I really doubt it.

Yeah I don’t like that one of the reasons we ask our meets if they are ok with us filming with our own device

I can appreciate your concern. What proportion are without consent is difficult to gauge though. To me that's more of an issue than whether the images are distasteful.

I don't see a way to police that though. Unless we are to expect every photo taken to be subject to some kind of formal contract detailing its usage. That would then require people to submit their personal information and allow that to be forwarded to sites so that they could verify consent was given?

If you’re taking pics of yourself and sharing them - either by posting online on via messages - they are out of your control. I found this out the hard way a good few years ago. As much as I agree with you, it’s as simple as that.

After but that’s but what the thread is about? If I consent to someone taking a picture of me that’s not consenting for it to be shared online.

Every picture we have with other people are friends of ours off and on fab we show them the pictures first to make sure it's ok and they also have pictures of us.

We don't have pictures done with people we dont know or trust as we have heard some stories about pictures being shared without consent on groups.

We've had our pictures used on fake profiles so I'm not sure how fab can police it.

I am pretty much in agreement with this. If I felt that strongly about it not being online, then I wouldn't allow the pic in the first place.

I'd only place that level of trust in a partner or very close friend.

We have a couple of photos with a lady who has joined us a few times. I checked with her before posting and she was happy with what we have put up. She would have been OK with us putting up more than we did.

If she asked us to take the down we would do it immediately. There was one type of photo she said she didn't want posted so we didn't.

She shows her face and more in her profile.

Yes I do, especially when the woman would be easily identifiable to those who know her & the man just has a bit of hand or cock in the pic.

As someone else mentioned futher up, I wish men wouldn't try and swap their wives pics or underwear without their knowledge too, it's vile.

All pics and videos are taken with full consent during nookie sessions, knowing that we'll be discretely posting them on our profile.

The only reservations they have about posting them are if they want to have their faces obscured or not.

We get a lot of mail from single guys and often they have public images of themselves with women and sometimes inc pics in the message which contain women. Often these guys are unverified so it's unlikely the pics are from a fab play date.
