"I do fancy some winter sun in the next couple of months, egypt maybe "

I think the best place for winter sun is The Gambia. 35 degrees and only 6 hours direct flight from UK.

This year I have a surprise trip in February, Germany, Holland and Luxembourg in May and Norfolk in April. I need to book more because staying home is so 2020

"Yes I am but they seem quite expensive at the moment. Think there must be high demand for holidays right now, it's that time of year.

Ruby"

Aren't they just. Quote extortionate. I have no idea how big families can afford holidays these days. Or even anyone really. I am lucky I can ,though not as many as used to, but thinking lots of people sadly can't. There is a hotel O used to go very regularly. The price is currently 5, yes 5 times what I paid just before Covid. Ridiculous

They really have shot up in price, 5 times is unreal!
