Buying clothes you don't think you can get away with. Anyone else do this and then be pleasantly surprised?
I bought a mooselover bodysuit. 😱I mean I look like a ninja and I'm not a 22 year old influencer but not the old, overstuffed sausage I expected. 😉
It's made me happy.
Just posting here as encouragement for you to ignore the doubts and just go for it. |

I do it every so often.
I also try to make sure that the ones I absolutely hate I put to one side instead of immediately throwing out, so I can try them again when I feel like I'm in a more positive space and might be more receptive and less critical of my own reflection 💜 |

Yes I do. Mr N encouraged me to wear things I wouldn't have dreamed of and I was surprised to find they looked ok. The only things I won't wear are very short skirts outside of the bedroom and things that are very clearly aimed at the young market. |

My boobs are the worst to fit when selecting lingerie body suits, leotards etc, so I checked out lingerie maternity and the range fit my boobs and my mum tum and look really nice. I used to worry about the size label, now I'm happy to buy as big as I need, to fit me well  |

I used one of those personal stylist companies for a while where they send you items based on rating clothes they suggest. They sent a few things I’d never have looked at twice but that worked really well. I was a bit gutted when they closed down and another I tried didn’t get my style at all.

Have to admit I had to look up what one was. 🙈
I have something similar but it’s for underneath my dry suit 😆
I’m really conservative in my day to day and don’t really stray into unknown territory |
