Meet ads, but blocked from messaging

Just a quick one - if a meet is advertised on the site, and it explicitly says they are looking for guys, but when you try to message the people, they've blocked guys from messaging - what is that about?

They may have forgotten to drop their filters or they could be contacting those on their friends list or hotlist directly.

Maybe they use the fabs on the meet to view those interested and contact the ones they like the look of

They've blocked guys to go through all he messages they've already received?

They only want those they've previously contacted?

I can understand people blocking a certain gender from mails even though they say it is what they are looking for as they could be choosing who they want to mail...but I have never got why a meet would be posted and keep the mail filters on , how are they going to know who is interested.

The only thing I can think of is they have forgotten they have mail filters set and are now thinking to themselves well that's not good, not one person is interested !!

It's perhaps that they've temporarily suspended new messages, whilst they deal with contacts they do have. There's no waiting list option, so they can open contact, when they are ready.
