Well, it’s been time again to sit and watch the classic film Topgun, and just reminding myself how good this film is.. ok forget the huge amounts of misogynistic testosterone, BUT,
The music is fantastic ….
The aerial scenes are awesome … and not a scrap of CGI in sight ….
And …. Who can forget the scene of Kelly McGillis walking into the classroom in the gander in fully fashioned seamed stockings … wow!! …. I always have to rewind that but a few times!! 😍😍

I remember going to see the film originally with a (then) girlfriend, who was in love with all of them, and the uniforms.
We kept in touch for many years, and she did go on to marry a Navigator in the RAF … although he flew Hercules, so arguably he went on the one of those who ‘flew rubber dog shit out of Hong Kong’!!, not quite a Goose!!
