Why don't people read your profile before messaging before messaging

I always read the profile. Can I possibly match what they are looking for. If they are looking for a 6'+ athletic guy with brown hair or a woman, what the hell would be the point? I'm just wasting my time. This isn't archery with a blindfold. |

Because most of them are boring, long winded snooze fests and have a list of do's and don'ts and rules and demands, ...then they complain on forums and status's about not finding the right guys...it's because you bored them into a coma |

I rarely do if it's longer than one paragraph.
If it had a heading that stated rules...I definitely wouldn't. But then again I also wouldn't message.
It's a swinging site, when women have provocative pics men aren't gonna read. |

If it's short I'll read it.. when it looks like a cyclopedia fuck dat, especially when 9 times out of 10 your read them profiles, and going by that profile, you fit the criteria. So you take time to send an informative message only to not even have it read, that's time out of your life your never get back plus it disrespectful, so no if it's long im not giving them my time. |

Just fab in a nutshell. Write a decent, well thought out profile and no one bothers to read it.
That and I’m convinced most folks just look at the pictures and base it off that rather than the content of the profile. |

Because some people don't care what you're looking for, they just think about themselves.Or they're blinded by pics so just don't bother with the text.
This applies to couples aswell as men, I am not interested in couples, but I still used to get them messaging me. I am also half a couple and some of our messages from other couples have been dire too.
It's a good filter op and it is usually really obvious when they haven't, even when they claim they've read it. |

Some profiles contradict what they are looking for with their verified meets. That along with profiles not being updated. “New here, taking it slow” but been on here a year?
So I guess some just shoot their shot. But it means annoying those who would like their profile read |
