Currently reading kindle supernatural smut - not my normal type of smut but it's been entertaining so far and it was free.
Once I'm done with that I've got the Thief Taker series by CS Quinn to read next week - Tudor era whodunnits that looked interesting. |

"Bob Mortimer’s second book Hotel Avocado. Very easy reading and his sense of humour really comes through. Then it’s onto Richard Osman’s latest Thursday Murder Club."
I’m gonna have to read Avacado Hotel - heard such good things about it! |

"Fabswingers forum post entitled "what are you reading" "
It makes a change from the "rate my cock pic" posts and for me swinging is a social thing about meeting like minded people, it's interesting hearing about people's other interests and you never know, this thread might suggest a good read or two. |

Ohh, I have had this on my TBR for ages now. How is it?
Right now i'm reading Flashmans Lady. Before that I started a christmas muder novel, but it bored me to tears to i gave up 3 quarters of the way through. I honestly dont care who did it.
Next on my list (even thoguh i started it already) is 'The age of surviellance capitalism'.

I'm half way through The Art Thief, a factual study of the escapades of an international art thief in the late nineties that acquired a billion pounds worth of antiquities.
Next up is Keanu Reeves is not in love with you - an investigation of online fraud. |

"Got a few books for Christmas including the most recent Lee (Andrew) Child - In Too Deep
Was also gifted A Gentleman in Moscow by Amor Towles"
'A Gentleman in Moscow' is rather good. Mush better than the tv show. |

Didn't know there was a show based on it so will look out for it. I tend to read the book before watching an adaptation anyway, if at all, so will do the same here |

It's surprising (or maybe not) though how many thoughtful, original threads sink without trace but the 'Fab this...', 'Rate that...', 'Do you like wanking...' etc. threads are the ones that attract the attention. |

"Cleopatra and Frankenstein - Coco Mellers.
Hopefully soon finish it and then it's - Butter by Asako Yuzuki. "
How are you finding the Coco Mellors? I read Blue Sisters recently and it hit me hard. |

Butter was probably my most interesting read of this year. It haunted me a while after I'd read it for reasons I can't quite pin down. |

Enjoying it so far - a lovely person in Daunt recommended it after I mentioned a few books I'd really enjoyed reading this past year. It's not particularly easy going or the light and fluffy I wrongly thought it would be but at the same time, I don't mind that. Some of it is really quite poignant and almost Dallowayesque.
Not sure I'm ready for Blue Sisters, it's on my list but might leave it for the warmer months! |

I just finished reading the fourth Skandar and the Unicorn Thief book which my daughter got for Christmas. I'm reading her The Borrowers. I've been reading a different Mr Man book every night to the youngest monkey. Thankfully the eldest one reads to himself now. I will be starting the latest Thursday Murder Club book tonight, which I got for Christmas. |
