Ours was good.
Got alot of biscuits chocolate and booze to last us a few months.
Had a great dinner and still have some turkey left over.
Watched wallace and gromit and a Xmas film with the family and chilled out.
Great break.

I always find that the pile of drink biscuits and chocolate that will last a few months, seems to disappear in just a couple of weeks, I’m sure someone enters my house when I’m at work and consumes these things, there can be no other explanation |

We had a lovely quiet day, just the two of us. We took the dog out for a good walk, had a late afternoon Christmas lunch (lamb), and watched Harry Potter Deathly Hallows pt1 whilst eating more treats.

I'm always happy for others who enjoy the day and will repeat what I put on another thread as it seems apt.
Christmas is always a tough day for me, it takes all of my mental strength to get through and I feel loss quite profoundly and end up in a kind of malaise. I am always so much more happier when I get past it. So Happy Boxing Day folks xxx |

The best thing of all about Christmas is the peace and quiet that a day of almost total shutdown brings........
Everything else is EXTRA
The fact that neighbours stay in and there are no car noises or building sounds or dogs barking ...... fucking bliss
Back to the good ole days when people were allowed to have their own brain time and not be totally subject to technology and capitalism .....
There's a lovely fog today, I might go for a walk .... in fact I will |

Same as any other day for me..
Didnt cook a roast, i like mine on a Sunday, so did a nice curry.
Did lottery on line.
Watched a movie or two.
Had a glass of Brandy
And ive just woke up.
Bottom line.....it starts far to early so it becomes boring...you dont prepare to cook a sunday roast 2 months in advance |

"It was alright, the usual bickering happened but, I was hosting, so I spent most of my time in the kitchen cooking and drinking gin "
Gin always seems to save the day.
All good here, a chunky bit of beef does the job. |

My highlight was 'the Traitors' boardgame; I've not laughed so much in ages!
My old man was the Traitor and had no fucking clue what was going on!! The faithful had him sussed in no time, but he was still none the wiser!! 🤣🤣🤣 |

Nice quiet day, did suggest to my wife that we could spend the day being affectionate to each other but that was imediatley shot down so I modified it to 5 mins still no joy lol. Fish and cxhips for dinner last night, well smoked haddock chips and salad very pleasant but still hungry as grandaughter turned up and the little monkey ate most of the chips lol. Its all kicking off today eleven round for the turkey. The day was topped of with a lovely ending to Gavin and Stacey just left me a touch envious of all the fanny they are all getting lol. |

It was ok, was pretty depressed walking up but soon pulled round
I don’t miss my ex in the slightest but will always miss us being a family at Christmas especially the years it’s her turn to have our daughter |

Wasn’t down or bored though, just ploughed through good food and tv and had a special Yuletide yank."

Got up 10 am, had a bacon sarnie on a new keto-bread recipe we are trying. Played computer games until 5pm. A chicken was cooked (not keen on turkey tbh). Ate Xmas dinner 6.30pm. (We always do a Xmas dinner, not a lunch). Played online computer game with friends until about 12am. Went to bed 7am this morning, and have now just woken up 1pm today. Showered and cleansed and ready for some gaming. Or might read a book. Haven't decided what to do today. |
