Why am I always getting this pop up message on fab?

You've maybe turned it off in google settings, I turn mine off usually otherwise google knows where you are .

You have the “who’s near” search function on and it is trying to find your location for that. Also you have probably set your phone location to always ask on your phone for your browser.

The who's near function doesn't prompt you and if location is turned off the who's near function doesn't work anyway .

It does prompt me on my phone if I have it turned on. I just tested it
