We’ll walk for miles.

Not in those bloody noisy, chattery groups though!

"Do we have any people who enjoy hiking?"

I absolutely love hill walking and hiking, usually with my brother. Unfortunately, I'm losing the use of my legs, so I'm getting very restricted on what I can still do. There are literal mountains I'll never climb.

What's your favourite walk?

couple, us we him her.

Yes we love it, only got into it earlier this year, but it's really helping my fitness following from COVID and having a back injury I haven't been able to run so been unfit and fat.

Unfortunately the back injury prevents walk's longer than 8 miles at the moment.

We also like walks away from the crowds and try to find routes where we stand a good chance of not seeing anyone else.

I hike with organised groups.

I like the security of having people around and, I can engage in or disengaged from conversation whenever I choose. Best of both worlds

-11 isn't terrible for hiking! As long as it's dry that's a pretty nice temperature

Leeds’ish

Out in the wild of scotlands east side this holiday season. Hoping for plenty of snow on tops while I’m up there. Also doing a reindeer trek to see them on the slopes of the Gorm.

I work out in the countryside every day, and often encounter hikers, many a time they have stopped for convivial conversation, and exclaim the beauty of the scenery and landscape.

I’m in it every day and take it very much for granted, when I reply “Yeaaaah………..Spose” they look at me aghast.

West Wales and Cardiff

For those that are able to do it, it’s just wonderful for mind, body and soul. Sorry to gear it’s not possible for some.

I struggle a bit with groups, but get the appeal. I love the solitude, although it’d be lovely to have someone to share it with.

I’m actually escaping all the madness and going today .

Love it and working towards my mountain leader qualifications. Have the chance to do a winter leader foundation course in Feb but work may be a bit too busy but will see.

Fantasise about some fun while wild camping in remote hills but have concerns about hygiene!
