For me it’s the little things.
The “hey I saw this and thought of you”
The little gifts like a favourite chocolate bar or a foot rub after a long day
When they remember something. Like I’d much rather a bunch of £1 daffodils (my favourite flower) than a dozen red roses. It’s them showing they’ve paid attention and care about the recipient not the grand gesture.
A little message when visiting somewhere that says they’re thinking about you or that they’d like to take you there.
Putting the time and effort in for me. That could be wearing something I’ve said I like or making sure our time will be present with each other. Equally expressing that they notice the effort I go to for them.
Romance isn’t all about big grand or expensive gestures. It’s really about paying attention, being present and putting in a little effort. |

It's little gestures that show you mean something to them. It's effort and time.
It's caring.
It's not about grand gestures.
It's about random kitchen slow dances, little notes that make you smile, it's playlists and songs, it's reliving beautiful shared memories. It's surprises, it's sunrise and sunset holding hands.
It's in a look, a kiss, a moment.
It's actually so many things.
I wish I had it in my life |
