Just noticing, some people seem to almost 'need' to be on here.
Others are just having a giggle and don't worry too much about it.
Where do you sit on this 'fence'?
I'm finding in hard to take much seriously any more - too many people with issues...  |

Depends what people expect to get out of it. I dont expect (easier to state what I dont expect... to receive expert advice on medical, legal, IT or any other matters as for that I ask the experts in the real world.
I dont EXPECT deep and meaningful friendships but I have made some really good friends.
I dont expect the sitre or the lifestyle to make up for shortfalls in my life or to be an answer to a crisis.
I do expect some friendly banter, some serious and some semi serious conversations with decent respectful genuine people. Most of the time, I am not disappointed. |

Expect FUN. Too many looking for relationships? Maybe... Some guys who expect to get sex just for asking??
Yeah - expect a few tossers as everywhere in life. But also expect to see/meet some really nice people.
Don't take things too seriously and most importantly don't take YOURSELF too seriously - Then you can expect FUN! |

its pretty 50/50
the less its about fun the less I'm interested, and by fun I mean having fun, not JUST getting a fuck...so I'm rarely caught up in (insert dull to medium angry tone):-'woe this shite is pish..nobody meets'... mainly because I think I have a relaxed view.
but definitely not that relaxed to start messing people around..I just dont think its fair messing up other peoples plans...even if it is quite a superficial thing..I'd honor agreements and hope to have a good laugh...and..maybe....ma hole!  |

I think too many people on here are just using it as "social network"...
Some are far too serious its scary...
Noone "needs" to be here, but sadly some would be lost without their online "friends"....
However, most do use it as a means to meeting and always will... |

i think its escapism for most ,a life style for some and a nice treat for others.who cares where you fit in as long as you all having fun?been told it looks a life style for us .but really? We can't meet every night lol.we have jobs family and us .its a life style if we chose it to fit in with our lives and compliment it .not instead of it .thats just us and our take on it.poppyxxhope that doesn't offendxx |

Some people have posted serious stuff about the death of a loved one and other emotional issues. That should not be taken lightly whatever the nature of the site but otherwise the trolls will have their say.
I have to say, a condolence message with an erect cock pic attached is a little incongruous.  |

Exactly this. I can be serious on here, I can be lighthearted and it fits into the rest of my life quite neatly. As long as everyone enjoys the way they use the site and it serves the purpose they want it to it's all good. |
