Sure. For 3-4 months back when I was at uni, around summer in 2017. I volunteered with a few guys and girls I knew to help with Syrian refugees in Jordan. The camp I was at was close to the border with Syria. And you could hear the occasional crank of the explosions in the distance. The border area was being fought over between the Assad government and ISIS militants. But the Jordanian military was on high alert. Sometimes I think what the hell was I thinking. Family was worried sick as they say I could have been a hostage like many of the journalists were. But it was a bit of an adventure for me and I wanted to help people. And I'd do it all over again.

When I was 8, I was walking to school with my family (stupidly carrying my pencils) and was excited to go back to school to show off my new glasses.
Anyway, me and my brother had a race to the gate and I tripped just as I pushed the gate open, the gate swung back and it knocked a pencil 2 inches into my eyebrow if it wasn't for me wearing my glasses that day, I would have lost my left eye  |

I nearly smacked Paul Young ( the singer) on the side of the head whilst carrying some lengths of wood through terminal 1 at Heathrow ( I worked there) it happened because a couple of the members of Frankie goes to Hollywood whistled at me in my work wear as a young good-looking 19 year old guy.
Back when I was young and good looking 
Distracted by the whistling I turned to see who was doing it saw who it was then heard someone shout to turn and see Paul Young ducking out of the way of said wood. |

I once broke up a fight by lifting one of the guys out of the way, taking a hit to the shoulder and shouting so loudly at the other guy backed off.
I was a 20year old woman between 2 grown arse men. I have no idea how I done it. |

1st time abroad thundering down runway.bing bong a member of groundcrew has noticed a problem with the aircraft.5 hours later we take off (now I was about 17 and quite fearless) we heard a rumour,that had we taken off.the landing gear would have failed
It didn't put me off in the slightest,I think if it happened now,I would not fly again |

I once escaped out of my bathroom window of my childhood home to go and visit a boyfriend that my mother wasn't keen on. I tied sheets to the cistern and slithered down them out the window, luckily we lived on the first floor lol once on the ground I hotfooted it to Birmingham. My mother was not impressed at my disappearing act she also had the ump she had to bust the door down as I'd locked it from the inside lol ahh to be young and reckless again 😅 🙃 |

Driving on an unlit stretch of motorway, when suddenly there was a stationary car in my lane with no lights on. I ploughed into the back of it and as I ground to a hault, the car I hit went accross the other lanes and finished on the hard shoulder. A miracle no other vehicle hit it
I blacked out for a few seconds and when I came around, Oasis started playing because the cassette tape had jumped into the player
Oh, the car I hit had been nicked the week before and used in burglarlies. It was abandoned in the outside lane when it had run out of petrol |

Hmmm absolutely true. Is that possible? My truth is relevant to my frame of reference and then we know that our memory of events can change over time.
I once hid in a cupboard under my bed, so that someone couldn't find me and sometimes, in certain circumstances, e.g. when I hear desperate anger in people's voices it triggers me and I feel the terror I felt in that moment. |
