It's rainy and cloudy here so it didn't feel particularly significant. I am pleased though because it means we're on the way to longer days again.

Though I do find it fascinating that if we look at solar time then it is this part of the year when the days are their longest. The shortest day is mid September which is not 6 months away because there are effects from both the tilt of the Earth and the elliptical orbit.
And I wrote all that without using "well actually" ... wait... dammit. |
