"Turkey and Gammon
My old dad wouldn’t be happy if there wasn’t Turkey on his plate 🙄
Traditional, but I couldn’t think of anything worse
Same. I’ll do a lovely roast beef when we come home. "
That I would much prefer, or goose, Turkey and gammon are just dry and bland |

Nut roast for me with roasted carrots, parsnips +potatoes, cauliflower cheese
...and I might buy some super expensive vegan Yorkshire puddings (£6!!) as Yorkies were all I liked on a roast dinner as a kid
I might make some parsnip \sweet potato Crocketts too ... oh and I also bought a Swede, so I guess that will be mashed with carrot? (went crazy in Tesco's 15p veg offer ) |

"Vegan wellington for us filled with chestnut puree, tofu, cranberries and cashews
Are you making it yourself HC? I am hoping to find something in M&S later"
I'm making it. Really quick and easy if you buy the premade chestnut puree |

Originally, I was planning Christmas dinner tapas-style, with grilled octopus and some prawns, maybe even homemade sushi. As both me and my partner like seafood. However, quite last minute, I managed to get a joint of beef in Sainsbury's, half price with Nectar card. So this year we are going to have a more traditional Christmas dinner. As he doesn't like peas or carrots, we're going to have a ton of cauliflower cheese, some baby potatoes (possibly made into "dirty toasties"), no Yorkshire pudding as I am the only one who likes it. |

It is delicious and very adaptable. I've used walnuts/squash/seitan... Whatever you fancy or have in the kitchen! |

My gammon is not dry or bland
And I do my best with turkey but it’s not a fun bird to cook |

Will be turkey, and I think a ham, have to say I love it and never found it dry with the amount of butter that goes in it. My mum will be cooking it but I usually carve.. instead of taking thin slices, I take the whole breasts off and carve across in 1 or 2cm (skin side to inner bit). |
