Morning sexy fabbers
So the old debate of ‘beards terrible, prefer stubble or even more so clean shaven’
I was just wondering , when I sometimes see ‘stubble is ok’ as someone who is currently in stubble stage (I had to shave beard off) 😢…. The stubble stage is the worst.
It’s prickly ….it looks untidy….. surely if a beard is well kept …it looks so much better than scruffy stubble ? And also the softness of a beard is better than stubble ?
Always curious which you prefer and why ![](/icons/s/biggrin.gif) |

Regrowing prickly stubble is annoying, especially when it catches on your shirt
Thick stubble is nice as is beards
I think clean shaven people don’t like them because of beard rash, I kissed a few men and their faces were red afterwards because they went too heavy kissing |

"You can get soft stubble if you look after it.
I went through a stage of keeping it just long enough to be soft. But short enough for it not to be a full beard. "
So when does stubble become a full beard…. Is there a specific length ![](/icons/s/cool.gif) |

When the stubble is fresh and new it’s not as nice, that first couple of days of growth are scratchy and can cause a horrible rash if I’m kissing someone with that stubble
Once it hits about 3/4mm length it’s much softer and I really like that. Then again I like beards too so maybe I’m not the person to ask |

I’m never clean shaven. Can’t stand it. Makes me look like a young boy and I’d have to shave every day without fail.
It takes about 6/7 days for my stubble to lose its sandpaper texture. I do use moisturiser on my face everyday which helps soften the hair.
I currently have a beard. I like the look of it but keeping it tidy takes work. Much like the owner it’s thick and dense so requires more frequent visits to my barbers. 💈 |

"Well kept beards, yes please ❤️
Stubble past the scratchy stage is hot af 😍
Fresh stubble where it tears your face up looks good but my skin is too sensitive for it. 😢"
I second this. Hubby has facial hair and I love it xx |

This is one of those "personal preference" things.
I used to be usually clean shaven. Bit of a phaff but it was my preference and typically what the SO of my life at the time liked.
Then, my ex preferred me to have a beard but like it short and neat so I'd have a #2 blade. However, she didn't like it "just shaved" as the cut hair must have been sharp and kissing irritated her face and I wasn't allowed to go down on her. But after a day or two she liked it.
Now, I'm growing it out. I quite like the Obadiah Stane look from Ironman with very short hair (I doubt I'll shave it completely) and a full beard.
But, like I said, it's personal preference so I may find out that that creates a kind of an interference with my... "social agenda", you know what I mean, so will change it...
Bonus points if you can identify the quote, film and character that said it in that little monologue... |
