Are they a marmite thing for most ?

Decoration over function?

Personally as the husband - I love the look of them and they send a clear signal of hedonistic intent…

You cant get a clitoris itself pierced due to potential nerve damage.

I have had my hood pierced a long time now. Definetly a good piercing to have as it heightens sensation.

They dont get in the way. No pain, had no complaints anyway from guys.

Probably the easiest piercing I ever had done, healed very quick too.

Hygiene is the same as cleaning that area anyway. No special attention needed.

I’ve had plenty of partners with nipples and hood done.

We looked into labia with my late partner.

As you say why would there be hygiene issues as long as you wash normally. I can only see the plus side 🤗
