Would any of you fine people know where I might be able to purchase (preferably UK) a ready made birch comprising multiple bound rods, for birching? Most kink-dedicated sites/retailers only go as far as canes / split canes etc but I’ve not yet been able to find any sellers that offer a range of good quality birches…

Query: given niche nature of the implement and its potentially short shelf life, is it just the case that instead of being sold by retailers the expectation for CP aficionados would be to fashion their own at home?

Thanks both!

Sadly, Simply Caning was a little lean on the birch front with their current offerings.

Jacks Floggers equally didn’t have any birches in their collection, but I may try reaching out directly to see if they can make them to order

To quote (slightly amended) from a film:

"How many men have your devotion to form, sir? You have managed ...to keep alive traditions that were dead before you were born."

May I suggest for hygiene reasons a Delrin cane made of a bundle of thin rods bound together. The alternative possibly is to think pervertables.

However, in this day and age sticking to original form is commendable.

Good luck

Thank you!

Indeed - although finding likeminded aficionados has proven to be quite a struggle! Finding women who enjoy CP to more intense levels narrows the pool somewhat. When you add further traits this, such as an appreciation for the more ‘traditional’ forms of CP and their application, along with a new enchant for niche implements like the birch, tawse etc… it feels like I’m more likely to find an albino rhino in my garden than a lady that aligns with the above

Still though… I remain hopeful

Interesting…, birch has antiseptic properties

Plus if birch twigs in full leaf cut fresh are used in a sauna to swot the skin, the heat opens the stomata on the underside of the leaf and gives of an extractive which is exact for the skin it’s a fantastic for some skin aliments

As toxins are expelled from the skin pores occurs it really helps prevent infection and can improve the condition of the skin

* In passing it’s easy to make yourself but wash the stem first well
