🎄✨️🎈🎄Fab Cake - Xmas🎄✨️🎈🎄🎈🎄
Jump to: Newest in thread
Following the previous fab bake , here is as promised the xmas edition of fab cake. To ensure that everyone can take part, this time you don't have to bake a cake yourself though of course you can.
All you need to do is just say you are in for now. Then anytime after that upload your cake pic (remember to make sure a little bit of you is in too or might not be approved) and just come back and tell us FAB MY CAKE. We will do the rest and get on fabbing. Happy Fab Cake everyone🎄✨️🎈🎄 |

I'm baking 2 basque Cheesecake for Christmas Day
As the recipe is kinda simple, I've provided 'options' for those wanting a topping (no pun intended op )
There is :
Salted caramel sauce
Mango & Passion fruit coulis
Peaches soaked in cognac
Cherries soaked in kirsch

Thanks for all the fabs my cake got. It was delicious.
I've some friends popping over next weekend, so I'm making mince pies, and an orange and lemon cheesecake, with jelly layer on top. I'll put half of the jelly on, let it cool, then I bought one of those boxes of jellied orange and lemons, which I will put on top of the jelly and pour the top layer on.
I make my own jelly using the juice of freshly squeezed fruit, the zest of the fruit, a drop of water, some caster sugar, and 4 gelatine leaves. Once it's made, it gets strained before pouring. |
