So I've noticed on a few pics, and to be honest other forms of media that some women when exposed, focus on hidding nipples only while others hide away the boob itself (minus cleavage areas).
Obviously laws and all that stuff blah blah blah
But to YOU in YOUR opinion, is it the whole boob or just the nipple that needs covering to avoid being exposed? |

I think I only have one photo where nipples are visible, I don’t actually like mine very much. Although actually fab has shown me they do come in all shapes and sizes so it’s been good for my confidence, so in that respect I’m glad some ladies are happy having theirs out!
My photos here are very tame, I save the good ones for the best people ![](/icons/s/wink.gif) |

"Nips
But why don't men have to hide them??
Because women’s nipples are sexualised and men’s aren’t. We must hide them in public. Free the nip I say! "
Oh if Posh was here, she would have made us some t-shirts!! |

Your aggressive use of capitals will not stand man!
But as YOU have asked an interesting question I shall respond.
I believe it's quite a ridiculous sexualisation of women's breasts. An artefact of a sexually depressed culture. Perhaps even a form a slut-shaming.
It seems to be circular reasoning to me, the only justification seems to be that it's a social norm. Appeals to tradition aren't very persuasive arguments. At least they aren't sufficient justification to force a person to behave in ways they do not wish to. |

This hate it in the summer when guys are topless everywhere in public. If women did that we would get arrested
To reply to the OP I'd say the nips. |

It's one of those where what counts as too much exposure varies from person to person. Given the range of sizes and shapes that people come in, not to mention the huge range of opinions on what is socially acceptable, it is impossible to regulate how much boob skin can be shown before it is indecent. This makes the nipple and areola an obvious if somewhat pointless choice.
Personally, once you've reached the point of displaying the entire boob minus the nipple, that last extra bit makes no difference in terms of "decency"
As for society sexualising female nipple's, I'm not convinced it's only a social thing. Whilst not wide spread, it isn't uncommon for a woman to be able to orgasm from nipple play. I may be wrong but I'm not aware of any other areas of the body that, when stimulated, are common causes of orgasm and acceptable to show in public. That isn't to say that all women enjoy nipple play nor that there is no one that can come from (for example) having their thumb sucked, just that such instances are pretty rare in comparison. The female nipple is pretty high up the list of erogenous zones
