If you give, or were going to give time or money or donations to a charity... Which one(s) would you do?

Away for Christmas

Local animal shelters.

Just so I can say to all the other human based ones that ask to give "no sorry, I give to too many already" without it actually being a lie.

My karma score stays intact.

Whatever will do the most good for the most people (sorry, animal lovers). Weirdly that's been malaria prevention for, like.. a long time now.

Full Fact get some of my money.

Where almost none of the money is used for anything other than helping the cause. It rules out almost all of bigger ones but many charities have almost zero expenses and salaries taken. I like those

I try to donate to charities like Sight Research UK, that are researching sight loss and looking into treatments for it. It must be absolutely devastating to lose your sight, I have a fear of it happening lol, but can you imagine being able to get your sight back? I hope they figure it out

Also donate to a charity that's researching treatmeant for spinal cord injuries

I have monthly donations to Shelter (no one deserves to be out on the streets and I like the lobbying work that they do around legislation as well as hands on support for the homeless), Cats Protection (because cats are my favourites) and The Donkey Sanctuary (because I’m a sucker and fell for a Facebook ad and now sponsor 2 donkeys. I was only going to sponsor one but then they said the donkey had a best friend and would I like to sponsor them too and muggins here said yes )
