I've been invited out for a Christmas drink and to exchange cards by someone and I know what her intention is.
She's definitely on my "never again" list for a reason but damn, she's hot.
I know if I go I'll give in and for me it'll be for one night only, but I suspect for her it won't.
I already know what I'll do but what would you do? |

I think...
A lot of people feel they have to have a Xmas romance/bang.
Then, when they realise their life is still a bit tearful (cos life, Winter, full moon, general existential angst etc haven't gone away) they take it out on the person they banged.
Valentine's can be similar.
So it might feel good for both of you for a few hours, and then it'll probably be horrible shortly afterwards for a bit.

Can you explain how she can be hot and a never again at the same time?

Well I had a similar situation recently tbh, someone I saw for a while turned out to be a real drama queen. After I ended things she seduced me with dinner, so I gave in and did what guys do. After more hot nights, I have decided to end it version 2. I think she's finally got the message now.
Though she's still up for it, I can't be arsed with the drama.
Besides my new job seems to have a lot of women potentially interested in me. When one door closes...  |

Whilst this is a bit far fetched, don't do it unless you are indeed emigrating abroad or at least moving cities in the new year where you'll be far enough away to be able to easily ignore her.
If she's on your "never again" list and your're clearly having second thoughts, don't do it and don't put yourself through it.
When I split up with my ex and got together with hubby I stupidly dumped Mr as I got scared of change and felt I needed to be back in my comfort zone. One shag later with my ex and I knew it was a mistake. Took a year to get back together with Mr and that could have backfired on me very easily.

It would depend on what the grounds for your suspicion that she will want more are.
I'd probably want that out in the open a bit more, so I could make that decision based on what I could say with conviction and felt we were both clear about it.
As a close friend said to me: There's always someone who wants more than the other. It's just what that is and how you go about it. |
