Decided I'm going to take a few months break from the site after Christmas. If anyone wants to keep in contact just message me.
I was just wondering does anyone on the site feel like they need a break from the site from time to time also? |

Breaks are essential and even more, to recognise when you need them.
I just hide my profile when it gets too much, I enjoy forum meanwhile.
Fab will still be there when you return OP, all the best to you x |

Frequently! I usually take one break a year just to recharge my sanity. Always hide my profile, never go unlos.

Kind of. I don't find this place too intense, but how much I enjoy it waxes and wanes. I tend just to log on less etc rather than needing a complete -hide/delete profile - kind of break.
But as others have said, it's important to know what's right for you individually. Hope you enjoy your Fab holiday! |

I'm like this. I'll skim read, not really post or sometimes not log on at all for a while. I'm usually ready to join in again after a week or so. |

Yes definitely. Sometimes i keep my profile active but make it so nobody new can message me. Sometimes i hide my profile, but still stay active on the forum. If i need a complete break I turn off messages AND hide the profile, and log out and don't come back until I'm ready. |

Yup often also take breaks from social media or my phone. It's definetly needed every now and then when my battery's low and I need to recharge. |

I tend to take a break when i am working away or busy with life in general but just hide my profile.
Like yourself i have a few people from here i keep in touch with on another messaging app.
I think the break does me good as it keeps Fab fresh and doesn’t become an obsession.
Fab can be quite addictive or damaging to some if they are in a bad place.
I have had quite a few times this year where Fab wasn’t the place to be at that moment. |

It's definitely a good call sometimes, I've taken a couple of breaks over the years, the last being the longest, I'm only recently back after a good number of years away!
You've got a great presence mate, and a really good profile; my advise, don't make the same mistake I did and go UNLOS, just hide your profile and take some time away.

Yeah I decided that a few months ago ,tbh I was going to delet my profile like I done on n off past 5 years ,but think I will keep this but hopefully try and not log in ha ha . |

Absolutely, been on and off with partners and as a single for years. You got to take time out every now and then and just live your life. Constant social media in any form is never any good for anybody. |

I'm just back from a break after an horrendous break up with... I left telegram too for a little bit, just to give my head a complete fab break
I really missed the forums when I was away... But it did me the world of good to build my resilience and breathe out all of the anger |

He's not just a random though, he's someone who has joined in the lounge for months, been nice, been funny. The guys that can take a good picture are always going to stand out more here but those who are consistently nice make friends. That's how it works. |

We are the same. We come back when we feel like it with a new profile. We also get a load of stick for this from people who we declined before, but, doesn’t bother us. So, if you need a break, come off! |

I go through phases of loving and hating the site. Sometimes I have some amazing conversations with people on here and half the time it isn’t even about sex or about what most people are actually on here looking for. It’s just nice to be part of a community where people aren’t judged.
Then there’s the flip side of the coin where I’m questioning myself for being here even though I enjoy it. It’s good to have a break every now and again - it doesn’t do any harm and you can hide your profile and then come back on and unhide it whenever you’re ready and still come on and keep in touch with your friends if you want to x |

My attendance is very sporadic on here. I'm often gone for three to six months at a time. Just do you and let anyone that you feel is a friend know if you want to stay in contact externally. Fab can become a driving force in day to day life and it's healthy to just shut it down every now and then. X |

I’m on sort of a break now. I log in at the moment to occasionally chat to a friend I met on here and browse the forums but that’s it.
