Just spent 1 hour assembling a new bookshelf, found a channel on the YTubes where the guy builds the model number of the furniture for you so you don't need to read the instructions.which was fantastic but still can't fix the issue of being 1 screw short,,,

There must be a opening out there for people to build others IKEA purchases if they themselves are DIY lacking.

Don the Snickers gear and spend a few hours with the lady of the house building her furniture

,,could be more than one opening I reckon

I love building flat pack!

I once declined meeting a hot guy to help a friend build some furniture. It was awesome.

I'm at peace with it once I'm left alone,

IKEA ain't bad, instructions wise but other manufacturers the instructions are in code,Code written by Stevie wonder,

Today I had my daughter helping,She was really into it, surprisingly.

I think you missed the boat on that one.

I know a few women that have gone through the trades. Their houses are lovely.

there has to be a gap in the market for it here, especially as Ireland only has 1 IKEA, a man with a van and ok with tools could make a decent living there I think.

I'm a qualified Chippy by trade , out of the game almost 20 years now bar nixers for friends and family, I did a lot of work for young women in my job when everyone went mad buying houses back in the 00s,, some weeks doubled the wages while off shift.

Reminds me of the joke:

I bought you a flat pack sex toy...it cost a little less because you have to put it up yourself

Chippies are fine, it's the sparks you should watch out for.

I know a couple of people that do this, one started for just doing the collection and delivery.

I personally find it very therapeutic.
