i carry your heart with me(i carry it in
my heart)i am never without it(anywhere
i go you go,my dear; and whatever is done
by only me is your doing,my darling)
i fear
no fate(for you are my fate,my sweet)i want
no world(for beautiful you are my world,my true)
and it's you are whatever a moon has always meant
and whatever a sun will always sing is you
here is the deepest secret nobody knows
(here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud
and the sky of the sky of a tree called life;which grows
higher than the soul can hope or mind can hide)
and this is the wonder that's keeping the stars apart
i carry your heart(i carry it in my heart)

"My English teacher always used to say poems were created by those wise people who could not sing.
Mine is
Do not stand at my grave and weap
I am not there I do not sleep " lol I can sing my dad and grandad was singers I could if I was not scared in front of people , lol
I love this one and very special to me.
I wandered lonely as a cloud
That floats on high o'er vales and hills,
When all at once I saw a crowd,
A host, of golden daffodils;
Beside the lake, beneath the trees,
Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.
Continuous as the stars that shine
And twinkle on the milky way,
They stretched in never-ending line
Along the margin of a bay:
Ten thousand saw I at a glance,
Tossing their heads in sprightly dance. |

That is my fathers favourite poems, I craved it into a oak chest that I made for his birthday. |

I love poems, used to write them when i was in school and actually got one published.
Eternal Bliss
Everything is such an enigma.
Problems came and went
Seeing nothing, hearing no-one,
Looking as if I could see.
My mind would follow you and me
As we entwined in our eternal bliss
I remember the time that we first kissed,
Seeing you wandering in my mind.
I can't find you - you're left behind.
Seeing into darkness, calling out your name,
I want to hold you, close, in my final life,
Want to see your true self, not an illusion,
Not just flesh and bone.
This is my last and final breath
As we walk into our eternal bliss.

There's an old Welsh poem from the valleys where I grew up that always brings a tear to my eye.
On the hill
There was a cow
It must have gone
It's not there now
Really symbolises the simple things in life. |
