Would you record encounters

For safety reasons?
E.g. putting a camera up in your room, telling people the camera is there, and it's a prerequisite for a meet to have it on.
What if there was a way of ensuring the recordings weren't accessible without the agreement of both parties? (On the knowledge that the police could coerce access if necessary).
Do you do this already? I have already spoken to one person who does (and, yes, tells their meets).
Do you think it would act as a deterrent if you did have it? |

"No
A mutually agreed recording is one thing, but the idea of someone covertly recording me is abhorrent "
I better not see myself on the Grove times.
No idea where i was going with that one tbh. |

I'm this scenario they tell you.
I wouldn't agree to it anyway but *if* I did I'd be very wary that there were no cameras elsewhere eg in the loo. |

I will say that I know filming certain scenes within bdsm circles is more common and is done for safety reasons. Those scenes I can’t mention here but they also include consent recordings at the start from all parties involved
It’s more of a legal standpoint though when edgeplay could easily be misconstrued to an outsider or should something go wrong and emergency services are called. Usually in these cases all parties are recording too so there’s no one sidedness. |

Nope, not a hope,
I typically don't do meets on spec here, it's usually after weeks if nothing months of chat and banter, that being both parties are well comfortable with each other,
I wouldn't turn up if I knew I'd be on vid. |

Yeh, this is partly what inspired me to ask, the other thing being the current trial which is only resulting in conviction because of the overwhelming evidence.
I'm very uncomfortable with it but I'm struggling to deny that it would be a very effective deterrent as well as a very effective piece of evidence, for a crime that is all too common and has a depressingly low conviction rate. |

We always film our meets with single guys but It is done openly with a camera in hand
We agree with guys that it will be filmed prior to agreeing to meet
And the films are for our veiwing only there never shared |

The OP is asking about it from a safety perspective.
While it seems you do it for the pleasure of watching back at later times? |
