Personally never keep them on but I run like a furnace. A few friends though when in a dungeon environment enjoy being completely naked bar big fluffy socks. They stay cosy warm and still damn hot too  |

For me it's the look, the aesthetics, the chicness. Socks don't do it for me on a guy, on a female it works ankle with frills or over the knee sporty type.
However I do appreciate some feet are not particularly attractive or some may feel self conscious about theirs then I'd be tolerant.
