So recently made a great connection with some and had high hopes. We text for 3 weeks and then went on a date.
I found him very attractive in real life, he was charming and funny and we shared a few kisses.
He missed his train so went for a nightcap somewhere we could get a bit more erm acquainted.
Then he let it slip that he couldn’t miss his bus as his wife thinks he’s out local with friends!!!!!!
As far as I knew he was divorced!!!
So are we all fibbers on fab? What’s your biggest fib?

I think just my name. And that's only because I don't want weirdos I've rejected looking me up elsewhere.
I don't share my work or personal details with people generally. But the basics on show are all true aside from the name. The site has a name field and it's weird not having a name to attach to someone you're talking to, so I have to put something in there rather than simply not mention it 💜 |

My name and living in fuckerville… which I totally would move to if it genuinely existed haha. Other than that no fibs…
To each their own but I would like to make informed decisions or mistakes the old fashioned way… so I hate being lied to. Nothing lovelier when you rock up at a social and the dude fits under your arm haha. |

My Instagram following is somewhere in the 20 thousands and I have my handle to someone who I was mad keen on see, they were me too.
They then got really pissy and called me a catfish and what not. So while I am not a fibber, being accused of being one was pretty harsh!! |

Most probably will use an alias or different persona, just to keep fab life separate from real life.
I might be an electrician, solicitor, doctor, cheese scientist - it's somewhat insignificant if we just want to have some laughs over a drink and enjoy intimacy on a semi regular basis. |

Yes i think some take on a different persona to keep fab life separate, But if you get to know a person well its hard to keep that up .. And you feel a fool as you trusted a person like that . I keep telling myself you live and learn .. You learn not to be a mug. And i know not everyone do that but some do as married or girl friends. just be open about it if you are. |

Had one guy who arranged to come over to the island from the Southampton area. All was set up, and I was dressed in something slinky in readiness and waiting for his arrival.
Waiting.
And waiting.
When things hit the "hour late" point, I tried sending him a text. Received a reply that he had been rushed to hospital after coming off his motorbike on the approach to Portsmouth. He said that he was just about to go into surgery, and wouldn't be able to be contacted again until the next day.
Hubby and I smelled the aroma of bullshit, so waited two hours and got hubby to phone him from his mobile, one he didn't have the number for. Lo and behold, the guy answered as hubby pretended to be from an insurance company. He asked if he'd make any claims or had any accidents in the last six months, which he was told "nope, I'm a very good rider".
Friends of ours work at both Pompy and Southampton hospitals, confirming that no motorbike accidents were brought in that day.
I was just a guy having a toss over the correspondence, and too cheap to buy a ticket across the Solent to get the real thing. |

I’m always straight about being married to anybody I talk to because you’ve got to respect each others boundaries and it starts from being honest if you want to explore with somebody and have a good connection. I understand lying about your name and maybe location but once you’re speaking to somebody surely you just tell them and it’s all in the open? That way there’s nothing to worry about letting slip when you meet and you can enjoy each others company without the risk of being disappointed xx |
