I was chatting to some female colleagues over a few social drinks recently and they were listing all the things about guys that give them the ick.
But what is it about females that gives guys the ick?? |

Firstly, any expression involving "ick".
Notwithstanding that I don't like poor personal hygiene or, I'm afraid to say, excessive tattoos. I like tattoos. I like looking at them and chatting about them and the stories behind them, but when it looks like she's still got clothes on despite being naked then I find it sexual a turn off. |

Firstly the word
But, more importantly, nothing does. How someone choses to live their life either be it on or off line is of no relevance to me as if their choices are not mine then I am happy and hope they are as well
People spend far too much time looking for negatives rather than positives |

Uncared for fingernails. I like 'feminine' fingernails...
A woman who turns up for a meet, and has clearly made no effort in her appearance...
Way too many tattoos, and especially anything with dark images, skulls etc...
Rolling a tab in front of me, as we chat...... I'm a non-smoker ffs... |

I searched for previous "ick" threads, of which there are plenty nestled within the Fab ether, and couldn't find any that I had commented upon. I suppose therefore there isn't much that gives me the "ick" - or at least nothing so glaring that would give sufficient "ick" for me to make a worthwhile comment.
People are different and we bring all sorts of nuances to the table.
I don't really find anything 'ick-worthy' in people's profiles. I suppose people's behaviours are things that would give rise for me to remark, but that's not really an "ick" for me. It's just traits and quirks, some good and some not-so-good.
To be honest most of the people here - on the fora and extraneous to it - are pretty decent folk. |
