Should you work with your ex?

From the land of haribos.

Before I ask the question. I will set the scene. I am watching the pembrokeshire murders 2024, have you also seen the tv series? It is good, there is a couple who are now exs and are working together, she is still single and he is still with someone.

To cut the story short, they are now developing feelings for eachthers and you can see that it is putting a strain on their work efforts as they still fancy eachother , but trying not to go any further with it, but in the end they book a hotel room and they end up having sex.

I am happy for them, but It is pretty sad, because they could of been together from the beginning, because his wife lied to him, but now they can be together and it seems that it might be so too.

What is your view about it, is it a good idea for exs to work together, can it work, do you work with one, can feelings get in the way? I think the best choice would be for one of them to leave the job, but sure, it can work too

It wouldn't be good. It would end in 1 of 2 ways. And probably not the good way.

Brigg, near scunthorpe

I'm self employed and I have an ex who is still my PA !! Granted we rarely have to meet , just mainly phone calls and emails but we get on fine ! I guess it depends on the situation regarding the split !! I do sometimes wish she try it on when it comes to pay rises hahaha , but that's just a fantasy that'll never happen

I'm not given her a pay rise lol

I would never work with my ex wife. It would be a nightmare. I think it would be hard on any new relationship too, especially if there was a work Christmas party!

Now nobody knows at work, but we do flurt a lot so probably they know. We get on well. So no i dont see it as a problem
