Hello all, just a quick post to say good bye to all the people i've met on here.
My mum died last night completely out of the blue and busy sorting out the funeral now. I am now completely on my own so think it's best for a fresh start.
Really glad I found fab but need something new in my life.

You may feel it now, but you are not alone.
I would consider staying round as those friends you have here just may come in handy.
I know they did when I lost someone close.

Well l lost my Dad end of oct and only now starting to feel nomal and can cope xxx I hope to see you back here when your ready xx if not you look after yourself and you have mad us smile over the months xxx jo |

Dont know you but would just add - my sympathies are with you - equally i would add - consider "hiding" your profile for now and when things get back to some normality pop back and see us all

I know we are not the same people here ......... But when I lost my Dad.. I had friends here help me .. Thay was helping to hold me together and mail asking if I was ok when half the time I felt I was going mad giving .Why this is not just a sex site its a place we bond in lots of other ways too. xxx |

As others have said, people on here can be a great sounding board for rants, moans etc - sometimes handy to have a rant at someone you don't know and who can't get hurt by it.

sorry to hear of your loss hunny, I lost my mam beginning of march and my dad died the day of her funeral,,like bussy said earlier,do think before you decide to leave as the forumites really got me through some hard times with the fun banter and more so all the kind words of comfort.whatever you decide to do though ,take care of yourself |

As others have said maybe just stick your profile on hide and keep yourself amongst true friends whether its fab friends or your un fab friends.

Hey Mr Fab, my mum died suddenly in her mid 40s many years ago so I know exactly how you are feeling right now. I don’t know you personally but you obviously have a lot of friends (even if they are a little unconventional) on fab, so it may be worth keeping your profile for a while as the one thing you will need over the coming days and weeks are friends that you can talk to. Time helps but you can never replace your mum, stay strong and lean on anyone who offers help. |

mate... you are never completely on your own, people will always rally round at a time of need... so rather than fully just going, set the profile to hidden.... take ya time, and if you feel the urge at any time to come back... do so....
