It's been a while since I last frequented this place so I'd like to know what's changed? And what your upto this Saturday night soon to be Sunday morning 
Big nostalgic shout out to HotAsh and of course the wonderful ErectJim where ever they may be
Also the many hosts who did this thread once upon a time even the co hosts  |

There isn't a regular noc any more. Sometimes someone does one. Ash sometimes pops up with one, but alas the regular ones died out months ago.
I used to enjoy Misty Manor - that's where I started posting on the forum.  |

Jim and Ash hosted it for 5+ years and then I came on board and hosted it for 2½ years (currently on hiatus). It was manageable with the three of us. Then Jim 'left' and it was quite taxing (but rewarding) for both Ash and I.
Jülië (Julie&Beef), LíttlèBírd and Misty (MistyPeaks) came on board and the quintet performed marvellously for almost 18 months or so. The ladies were brilliant but new jobs for all the made it prohibitive for them to continue.
Ash and I plodded along until Ash retired last Christmas. I did my last one in February with the intention of continuing from April onwards...but personal constraints made it difficult.
Ash has hosted two on a whim since then but the official* baton remains with me. I need to recruit two people but it takes someone with a strong constitution and mettle to run with it.
[*No one actually owns the Nocturnal, it's not mine to relinquish]. |

Bill, it's absolutely bloody freezing here. Very high winds and rain. I went out dresses for the Arctic and was still cold! 4 or 5 layers, double sockage and gloveage but still cold.
Current real feel is -2°C |

I seem to remember starting the Nocturnal roll call back around 2015 if memory serves
me correctly may have been 2016. I was working nights at the time and was a good way to chat with people. Was quite fun and regularly used to end up through the night with 6 or 7 threads long. Then Suzy444 came on board as my saucy secretary and then I believe Erectjim who was a regular contributor took it over when I had my Fab hiatus. Would be nice to see it resurrected again as it was nice to have a place to chat for the night birds. |

I am well aware that you are the silent progenitor of the Nocturnal, @Danielpierced. 🩶🩶 ...and Suzy too. Suzy used to crop up every now and again to say hello but she's now immortalised within our distant memories.
Jim and Ash were the regular hosts until I joined them...
If I'm honest...my sex life deteriorated during my nocturnal tenure and then picked up significantly when I took an indefinite hiatus. |
