Not me, but a woman I used to work with. One christmas she got a christmas tree for christmas from her husband. He had wrapped the box up and put it under the other christmas tree for her, it was a £300 one she had seen when they were out shopping, she said to her husband in passing it's a nice tree. She was not happy. |

For me it's jewellery because I just wouldn't wear it. Last year from a partner I got big storage boxes. I imagine for many that would be a terrible present but for me great. I don't really want presents at all but if I have to get them then I want practical ones.
Oh just remembered I I've got a belt that clearly came as part of an outfit from an ex partner's sister. A cheap plastic one. It's fine I got rid of it. The only annoying thing was I bought the person in question a really nice (and expensive) present. |

I got a pineapple corerfrom my mother, was met with gritted gratitude...and seemingly the most pointless present ever.. however for many years it sat dormant in the cupboard until someone had a haiwain bbq party, for the few hours I drink rum and from a hollowed out pineapple like a king.

My mum regifts heavily. If you give her something she doesn’t like she wraps it up and gives it back to you next year. She isn’t being malicious, she thinks if you gave it to her then you must like it and think it’s a decent gift. |
