I'm now the proud owner of a watch bought for a hundred quid in the backroom of a fleapit market in Thailand, that if bought 'for real', would have put me back ten grand.
I know the officionado's could probably tell the difference, but to the untrained eye it's identical! ⌚️

But a Hermés bag bought in old town Dubai, came with all the certs ,boxed up in Hermes official boxes,amazing workmanship and top quality leather, only a Hermés employee could tell the difference and to buy a real one you are up at House prices money,, bought for under 350, |

We say fake, what it really is (in 99% of cases) is a difference in label. The parts and manufacturing are the exact same.
Paying extortionate prices for a name.
Of course there are those cheap poor quality true fakes too. But they do stand out.
