And a pack of semi-feral dogs are likely to attack you before you get in sight of the porch.
Where I'm probably sat on the rocking chair, with a jam jar of moonshine and a Winchester. All regal and such like. |

I am a farmer I do live on a remote Cumbrian farm and I love it, nobody visits and you left your own devices and satnav takes you to our door.
But no rail services. No bus route no hospitals nearby thank goodness for air ambulance should things go wrong. Wouldn't live in a castle it's too cold it's bad enough in a farmhouse |

Castle with a moat please. I'm far too lazy to be a farmer.
It would need to be a renovated castle with decent windows and good heating, not some draughty medieval ice-box that's musty and damp. Ideally somewhere close enough to civilisation that I could have my groceries delivered. |
