I actually feel sorry for you women on here with men just send pictures of there dick and meet now message and then if you say no you get abused so I fully understand but I’m not one them people I take the time to read profile and use information to make a conversation |

Joking aside. There are so many single guys on here. Women get swamped with messages. It is a bloody nightmare going through all messages when your inbox is in the hundreds. That is why you get left on unread or no reply. We all have. I certainly have in the past. |

Just delete your sent message as soon as sent then you’ll forget you sent anything and not feel disappointed when you don’t get a reply, which no one is obliged to do, but if you do get a reply you will feel all excited and gooey 😂😂😂😂👍🏽 |

Stop waiting on replies.
There’s dozens of legitimate reasons women don’t reply, all as valid as the next.
Simply assume that no reply is a reply telling you “not interested”.

Plus once a message is answered, the recipient can pass through filters…
don’t get upset at not receiving responses. There are some awful men on here and the abuse they give women when rejected is staggering.

You will read on women's profiles " bulk delete to many messages" women on here just get delused with the good, the bad,and the ugly. Nobody has time to read hundreds of messages a day. I only get a message a month it's normally from admin 🙃 |

I made the mistake of trying to reply to all the decent messages we got (and by decent i mean obvious effort, not just hi etc- people who clearly had read the profile)
However. The amount of people who would refuse to take a polite no thank you as an answer and continue to try to “convince” me why I should meet them was pretty annoying; never mind the ones who them took a no thank you as an excuse to tell me I’m (fat/ugly/hands like a man/big shoulders/didn’t want to touch me anyhow- all of which Ive had) or just be downright abusive has left me only really replying to messages I’m interested in.
Its no worth the aggro otherwise. |

If we were to respond to every one and took 30 seconds each time it would take a couple of hours just to reply.

It's never been any different. I'm guilty of probably deleting more messages than I answer and the reason is:
1. They clearly haven't read my profile.
2. They send crude messages
3. "Hi" doesn't really deserve an answer
4. They are not what I'm looking for (see 1.)
Why should I waste my time replying when they can't be bothered?? |

Don’t think it’s since covid, unfortunately there are far too many people on here who send aimless messages to all and sundry just hoping that someone will bite. That creates the problem of too many messages to handle and that’s where the majority of delete and no reply comes from.
Personally if we receive a message where it is clear our profile has been read and there is effort applied, we will reply even if it’s just to say no thanks.

No response is a response.
You're not entitled to a reply.
Women don't have time to reply to every single msg if they get 100s.
Would you really want to hear no thanks multiple times?
A polite no thanks can sometimes result in a not so polite response.
It this place isn't working for you, try a club or a social 👍🏻

We came across a a really well-suited couple for us. We looked like we were looking for the same thing. We wrote a nice message to them introducing ourselves and telling them a bit about us and that we think we'd get along.
What did they do? Block us!
Yes, it's a downer. But you know what? They weren't interested. Even if they had replied, they are still not interested.
So, yes, it would be nice to get a reply, but they aren't here to make us feel better. We just have to move on. There are plenty more good experiences to come. |

I get polite messages but if I read the profile and we're not compatible or the update is awful I just delete.
I once got called a pic collector cause I said not for me. There's no right way to decline other than delete. |

Absolutely, OP, there's a maximum number of messages I get to send a day, if I replied to every person who sent me a message, I'd have run out. What you don't seem to realise is that when I delete a message there is about a 10% chance of abuse from that person, if I say no thanks, that chance is 75%. |

To be fair, it's easy to control your inbox. Put filters on when you get to so many. Simple.

Whilst it maybe important to read a bio , it's also important to remember that it goes both ways, a person could've been polite been very creative but needs to be compatibilities to some degree. can be looks, charm,charisma and be miles away and still build something.... |

Even as a single guy I don't reply to all messages.
Likewise on the couples profile.
I/we view the profile. If it's not someone we'd be interested in chatting to why would we?
Besides. It gets mind numbingly dull trying to think of responses to to 'Hi', 'Hey', 'How are you?' style questions.
Never worry about not getting a response. Just focus on those who do reply. |

Good morning OP, I get your frustration, especially as you've taken time effort and care in your message however, I compare the the sending of messages on Fab with the posting of flyers from building companies, businesses, charities.... through people's letterboxes; all of these have taken effort (and money) to produce, yet they are mostly ignored; I'm sure your don't write to each and everyone of them saying "thanks but no thanks" and I sure you don't consider yourself rude for not having done so, I certainly don't think that I'm when I just scrunch them up and bin then. |

Op for some women and couples, replying to every message would be a full time job.
Just because you think you would be what they're after, doesn't make it so & their idea of a good first message, may differ from yours.
I use lots of filters to keep mail low & if I can tell someone has read my profile, I do reply.
However not all men can take a rejection, so then you get well why not messages or abuse.
Delete sent messages from your inbox op, then any replies will be a nice suprise. |
