Has anyone ever attended a club or party, where all attendees had to be vetted and fit a certain type of ‘look’?
Compared to a club/party where attendees are more diverse in looks, how was it?
I only ask, as i’ve seen a few threads lately, where some of the comments have implied pretty, slim, handsome, gym fit folks are more appreciated in clubs/parties.
attraction is subjective. As open as swinging is supposed to be, there are still some unkind attitudes. Expressing someone isn't for you is fine - bringing down others for that end isn't.
What say you? |

MADERIA Wherever I lay my hat |
I have been to Le Boudoir a few times. When I joined I had no idea they turned people down on the basis of their photo or I would never have applied. But attractiveness is subjective and I have been and not found anyone I was attracted to. And tbh I have found people at Penthouse Playrooms a far more "gorgeous" bunch |

"Le Boudoir springs to mind.
Must be so bland going to clubs like this and actually paying a fortune in fees to inflate already fragile egos
Why? "
Going through a "selection" process to be told by people who judge you if you can or can't attend their precious club. Then ending up at a club where everybody looks the same and are pretentious just because they fit someone else's ostentatious view with a bunch desperate applicants to boost their fragile egos |

Many moons ago a then partner and I applied for a couples membership where you had to be photo verified (read, judged on worthiness). We got in. We split and i tried to renew my membership as a single and was declined 🤣🤣. Was i hurt, no, i found it highly amusing and still do.
These all perfect pretty people clubs can stay exclusive! Keeps all the peacocks in one place !
Much much prefer an all inclusive anyone welcome enviroment |

I've never been to a club but there used to be a club owner who posted regularly in the Ireland forum a few years ago.
He argued that it was his right to demand full frontal nude pics including face from any and all attendees at his events and became very aggressive when challenged and resorted to body shaming.
The club closed shortly after. |

"Yeah we went to Chic, you have to be picture verified to attend. Just full of posey people walking around looking good, give us a normal club night any day.
Mr F. "
I agree, my Chic experience was that it was mostly a load of poseurs, most of the women (girls tbh) were so heavily made up that sex or the hot tub were never going to be an option, walked around to be seen and then left early. Yawn fest.
I have gone to hosted parties where the guests have been ‘curated’ and had a good time - the hosts have gone with personalities rather than looks though. |

I don't go to clubs because, well fuck clubs!
But if I did, I'd avoid that type of shit at all costs. Regardless of if I'd get in or not, the amount of... Vanity levels needed to be around people of that calibre I do not possess. |

I've been to Chic a couple of times. It looked beautiful, some really great lingerie sets. It was also very erm... poserish. I remember being so nervous about getting in and once I was there it was like... oh. Okay. Spoke to some lovely people, danced. Fucking was quite erm... staged? Looked nice, dried me up. |

I’ve been invited to those type of parties and they do all look beautiful! But it’s just not something I’d be interested in attending. The vibes just aren’t for me.
Regular clubs (not that I go very often) are much more my scene. |

"I'm sure some club events want attendees to be gym fit. Is that what you mean?"
I think it means that you need to fit a certain body type and look. There are loads of threads on here that do just that and some clubs run events aimed at a particular body type. 🤷♀️ |

Which is a good thing imho, as it gives people who would normally be excluded a chance to take part. What saddens me, is the attitude that swinging should only be about elite looking people, and the derogatory language aimed at those who don't fit the aesthetically pleasing elite look. |
