Mens pictures on couples profiles?

Just an observation but why do most couples profiles have next to no pictures of the male half of the couple?
There could be 20 pictures of the lady and if you are lucky 2-3 of the man! Are women not interested in the men's bodies at all? Do they only want to know he's got a working cock and don't care what its attached too?Or is it that men are shy about having their picture taken?
It can be very frustrating for couples when searching for another couple to play with? |

We've tried to get a balance however I like taking pics of luna and taking pics of me is the furthest from her mind, add to that there's usually a greater array of lingerie/sexy outfits for females you have to get quite inventive to get a "sexy" pic of a guy.

Better to look it is HIGHLY debatable.
Regardless of that, the gen pop and nature of the place just gravitates towards what gets the attention as you say, and when you actually look what are MOST (not all) couples looking for? A bi woman or a straight man, or both. And other couples of course. They are definitely in the majority camp.

I've found this frustrating for years, as a straight woman who is half a couple.
We just use it as a filter now & don't engage with those profiles that have 99 pics of the lady and just a token cock pic.
I get it if only the lady plays, but otherwise don't understand why a couple looking for women or other couples wouldn't want to show both parties. |

I get message from couples and they seem to expect me to go on a blind meeting by not showing any pics of the male half.
Most of the time if I see a couple profile and there are no pictures of the male half then I assume it's another fake profile of time waster and don't even bother answering. |

It is often missing pictures of men in couples profiles that put me off them. I like it when there are shots of them cuddling or linking arms or similar, rather than all action and sultry. It makes them more couply to me.
Thinking on it, there are probably more single male accounts with two people in the photos than couples accounts!  |

Absolutely agree. If you’re looking to play as a couple, why not put both of you out there?

It's a constant frustration for Mrs Misfit and thus one for me too. Because if Mrs Misfit can't gauge physical attraction for the guys we're unlikely to message first or reply.
As others have pointed out it's not just quantity of photos but what's in the photos of the guys. Or more what's not in the photo of the guys. We understand online privacy but we would like a flavour for the bodies of both of them. Not just the guys bits, even 10 times over. We don't mind it not being 50/50 obviously there's often more scope to show off Mrs. But please just give us something we can go off. It's not a game of blind date.
I hate this attitude that the guy is not important. That as long as he brings an attractive woman the other couple will potentially take one for the team. That's not how it works is it? I know personally I don't want to be with a couple of single female unless their attracted to me too not just because I come with the lovely Mrs Misfit. That doesn't work for us and why it's so important there's a good range of pictures of me too.
Personally it's not 50/50 exactly but we hope there is a decent range of both of us separately and together in our photos so people can get an idea of us both and gauge attraction to us as a couple.

Hi OP...yes we completely agree with you regarding the lack of pics of "him" on many couple profiles. We think there is truth in many of the replies on this thread. Some have simply sent the wife out to thumb the lift before rushing out of the undergrowth. Some perhaps just want a watching role. A lot may just view themselves as unattractive and since they do all of the fabmin dont include themselves. Many possibilities.
So you then look at our profile and find just the one pic of each of us which is not particularly enticing? However it is enough to tell you that we are real, and in keeping with your original post that both of us are real.
Not many people contact us and that is great. Perfect. We are not shy or inarticulate and are very happy to reach out to others who we find interesting..which we do. If they reply intelligibly then great and we happily offer further proof of fabulous desirability. If they don't, or can't, then no loss.
The net result is that if we are currently in conversation with you on here then you KNOW that we genuinely find you interesting and we know that you are smart enough to jump the limited pics hurdle. It's not perfect but like the genius single guy tactic of "fab the oldest pic" it works ok and we find nice people.

The best fun to be had is when you have to play 'body part jigsaw' to try and work out what someone would look like. Takes ages to print out various body parts and stick them together with tape. 🤷♂️ |

Majority of couples have a bi female or are looking for a bi female, therefore they show the females.
Or
It's mainly the woman that plays so they only show the woman.
It's probably why on alot of couples profiles you'll see them asking to direct messages at both of them, otherwise it's just the women that get spoken to.

We're both straight. If I can't see the guy I'm supposed to be meeting even just for coffee, I won't meet. I find it insulting if anyone is happy to provide pictures for my husband and not me.
Experience has shown us that if a man is reluctant to show pictures of himself he's reluctant to meet and quite often only wants to watch his wife with another man.
I know not all profiles that don't have pictures of the guy are like this but it's happened enough times to make me very wary. |

When my wife and I were still living together and on the site YEAR'S ago I would do the same, many of Sheila but only a few of myself...not all of us are confident about our bodies, I certainly am not.
Example..I met my wife when I was 27yrs old, she 33yrs, I had been working out since 13yrs BUT never once let anyone see me in a t-shirt 👕, not even my parents.
Then I met Sheila and she questioned me as to why I kept covered, I explained I'm not good enough to be seen in a t-shirt, she persuaded me to wear one out in public, I had some surprising complements which shocked me, so from 27yrs old I didn't hide away, felt horrible at first...like being naked in public but now it doesn't bother me and even allow pictures taken, but I still feel insecure about my body.
I have learnt over the year's that many/most of us bodybuilders do suffer some mental issue's in one way or another.  |

We have pictures of both of us.
Generally speaking, the women's pictures gain more attention and traction to a profile than pictures of just him. Of course, pictures of both him and her together are excellent. |

Op we find couples and singles only ever look at the lady no 1 ever looks and perves over me the Mr so is disheartening for me

I’m pretty much the same with this - when a couple both want to play if there is very little of the male on the profile or just a cock pic then I will delete their message. |

There are some of the oldman on our profile but he is shy x
I am shy but he loves taking pics of me and does so even when I'm not aware sometimes x I try to take some of him but I don't seem to be good at getting decent photos x
But the ladies we meet always tell us that he is underrepresented and they want to see more of him. I feel like he is really the star of the show and those that have met us will usually agree with me xx
If anyone does photography and needs some models we'd be up for getting some better pictures.

On a separate note, we met a lady we'd chatted to for a while this weekend, and the first thing she exclaimed was "OMG! You look exactly like your pictures!" She later explained that she was sick of meeting people to discover they look nothing like thier pics. We don't use filters for this exact reason.

Well that got more responses than we expected! Thankyou to everyone who took the time and made the effort.
It’s good to see we are not alone in our thoughts, we understand that everyone is different and for a multitude of different reasons profiles look different and have varying amounts of effort put into them.
The whole point of the question posed was that as a couple looking for other couples to chat to, meet, socialise with, potentially play with why are so many profiles of supposedly like minded couples who are looking for the same thing completely one sided and void of almost any pictures of him! We wouldn’t ever consider going any further without establishing that he was more than just a dick!

Very much rings true.
I always grab my.cameta in action and snap her. However i find it hard to do worthwhile self portraits while in action.
But it does seem unduly weighted towards the woman.
I adore showing her off. But have a (possibly incorrect) feeling that fewer people are intetested in me.
It is something I should think about at least covering.

A common trend we've encountered is being winked by couples that have decent profile text, an attractive or fairly attractive female, but no pictures of him besides cock shots either by itself or in action.
Our first thought is that the male half isn't attractive, hence no pictures. Ultimately those winks go ignored.
